Lorena Contreras is an experienced accounting professional with a strong background in accounting and finance. She studied Public Accounting in Mexico and later pursued Business Administration and Accounting in the U.S. Lorena’s expertise spans multiple industries, including manufacturing, construction, real estate, and retail. At our firm, Lorena specializes in Tax Resolution and Payroll Management, managing client accounts and ensuring timely and accurate tax filings. As Audit Manager at G&S Accountancy Inc., Hugo plays a pivotal role in planning, supervising, and delivering high-quality attestation services, including audits, reviews, and compilations. Hugo is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of audit engagements, ensuring projects are appropriately resourced and executed within scope, budget, and timelines. His expertise in IFRS, US GAAP/GAAS, and compliance frameworks like COSO and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) enhances the firm’s ability to handle complex financial reporting and internal control requirements. Key responsibilities include: Supervising and training audit staff, providing guidance on technical and procedural matters to ensure quality and consistency. Overseeing the response to technical accounting issues and serving as the key point of contact for client finance leaders. Keeping managers, directors, and partners informed on engagement progress, team performance, and project developments. Assisting partners with budget compliance, billing processes, and preparing proposals for audit services. Planning and budgeting audit engagements, including defining scope, timing, and resource allocation. Abhinav Aggarwal, or Abhi, has been with our firm since 2020, bringing over 10 years of accounting experience. He holds a Bachelor’s in Commerce from Delhi University and an MBA in Finance from NMIMS. As a Senior Accountant, Abhi specializes in Financial Projections, Bookkeeping, Internal Management Reporting, Financial analysis, and Sales Tax returns. His expertise in QuickBooks ensures efficient and compliant financial operations. Abhi is dedicated to providing accurate financial insights and tailored solutions to help clients meet their business objectives.

Riya Manocha has been an integral part of our team, bringing over 10 years of experience in Financial Accounting, Business Planning, Forecasting, and Tax Resolutions. She is a Chartered Accountant with a strong track record of handling complex tax cases with the IRS, FTB, EDD, CDTFA, and other agencies. At G&S Accountancy, Riya is proficient in preparing Management Information Systems (MIS) and dashboards, providing valuable insights that support strategic decision-making. Her entrepreneurial skills have been crucial in assisting early-stage startups in assessing their financial positions and navigating the challenges of growth. Tony, is a Commerce and Finance graduate with over 10 years of experience in the BPO, Consulting, and Education industries. As an Accountant and Payroll Specialist at G&S Accountancy Inc., Tony is skilled in preparing financial statements, including trial balance, cash flow statements, reconciliation reports, profit & loss accounts, age-wise accounts payables & receivables statements, and balance sheets. When he’s not working, Tony loves traveling, hiking, and playing cricket.

Vanessa Rubio brings extensive expertise to our team at G&S Accountancy Inc., with advanced qualifications including an MBA in Finance, an M.A. in Economics, and a Post Graduate Diploma in International Business Operations. She specializes in a range of tax and compliance services, from filing sales tax and IFTA returns to assisting with IRS and FTB payments. Vanessa also manages the formation and dissolution of U.S. entities and oversees the filing of Beneficial Ownership Information Reporting (BOIR). Outside of work, Vanessa enjoys listening to music, cooking, and traveling.
